Hi,

I know what some of the icons on the tree mean, but there seems to be a few I don't know. IS there a website where it shows all the icons on the structure tree and what they mean?

Icons on the tree are labelled by their object type. If it's a fillet, it's got an object type of fillet, with an instance number. (i.e., fillet.1, fillet.2, etc.) The exception is if the object has been renamed. Then, you can simply double click on it, and it will tell you by way of the function used to create/modify it.

If you mean function icons, (completely different from the objects in the tree) you can find that out, simply by mousing over them, and waiting a second or two for the name to pop up.

Individual elements within a Part have icons in the product structure tree broadly similar to the command icon that created them. The important (and confusing) ones are mostly Part bodies and Parts themselves. If you string something like "structure icons" into the CATIA help documentation you can get a list which tells you what most of them are - I can't be more exact than this as I don't have the help set up on my machine.

Go to CATIA help documentation homepage, Infrastructure, Product Structure, then scroll down the Preface to Workbench Description and in there you'll find Spec Tree Symbols.

I have tried to do some screen dumps but no success yet, will see what I can do.
