Trim lines do not engaged

some one of you know, why when I trim a line, this one do not engaged whit other lines?

In the sketcher, there are an "extend" and a "trim" function.
the trim function will not make a short line longer. that's the Extend function.
The trim can/will cut a curve to an existing object if it is crossing physically but not theoretically.
