i am not able to upload a pic or file....sorry about that....may be its a problem in my comp...

the problem is at the joint, when i select one pipe as target and other as tool....it do trim it...but i see cut section of pipe(of the targets) inside the other(the one i used as tool) not deleted....

i did see the john bakers example files on tube joints....but they were done in earlier NX versions....7 or less...

Next time, either subtract a cylinder (not a tube), or remove parameters after tube subtraction and throw out the piece you do not need.

[green]To the Toolmaker, your nice little cartoon drawing of your glass looks cool, but your solid model sucks. Do you want me to fix it, or are you going to take all week to get it back to me so I can get some work done?[/green]

@capnhook....my original model will have least 300 tubes....i did see john baker doing trim on earlier version of nx successfully....i think i m missing something in the process...or nx 7.5 cannot trim it completely...

i can extrude cut it...it very laborious for my model...[pc3].

thank you cowski...multiple faces are selected in my model...that is the reason it is doing it wrong.... thank you very much
