Do any of you know a easy way to cut a taper on Titanium honeycomb? I need to cut a 5-6inch long by .25 deep wedge of of 3.5 pound pre cubic foot ti honeycomb. The cut would be 12 feet long.

I have found that a router bit just bends the ribbon with is only .003 thick. The Honeyconb is 1.6 inchs thick

You might try these guys, they make core cutting
cutters specifically for honeycomb. You might
rough to within .030 with a endmill and then finish
with one of their core slicer cutters.
