Hello everyone.
I am trying to make a gas compressor. I had seen vane pumps and i like it.
Vane pumps are formed by an external cylinder, holding inside off-center, another rotating cylinder wich uses vanes.
I wish to calculate it for pumping R134 refrigerant in a small fridge using a low voltage motor, i need 2 cubic centimetres of displacement per revolution. I tried some online calculators and the diameters of static cylinder and the spinning one are nearly the same. My problem is that, i don't know how to choose proper sizes and have an acceptible distance between them. I wish to just use 2 vanes, so i can keep it easy to build.
Just let me thank you for your support.
