Not sure if this is the correct forum for this question. My apologies in advance if I'm posting in the wrong location.

I'm trying to locate an engineering house that has experience designing small transmission boxes, using molded gears. I'm developing a timing mechanism for a disposable device that's about 1/2" square

Any leads for this is appreciated.

We had good results from a gear house in Minn, MN. They have gone thru some name changes, but they have a good track record with automotive applic. They did overmolding of power shafts and also plastic worms.

All,

Thanks for the info!

Plasgears- Do you have more specific info? I do a lot of traveling to MN area, so it would be convenient. Again I'm looking for very small plastic gears and gearbox, ie something that would be found in a small toy.

Gearhead,

I recall the initials SPM for S...Plastic Molding. Good house in Minn, MN.
