Hi,
For tube-to-tubesheet Procedure qualification as per ASME IX QW-403.32 if the tube thickness used in procedure qualification is 2.5mm or less we can use that PQR for 1/2t to 2T thickness jobs. If tube thickness is greater than 2.5mm only one qualification is required. So what is the minimum qualified thickness if the tube thickness used in procedure qualification is greater than 2.5mm?

For such qualifications, you use mock-ups using identical tubes

Dhurjati,

I must strongly disagree. That is a ridiculous way to interpret what is very clear.

It clearly says "For tubes of specified wall thickness greater than
0.100 in. (2.5 mm), only one qualification test is required."

There isn't even ambiguity in this. OP should not even need to ask.

I agree 100% with MeltedEng. Back to the OP question: The thickness range for a pipe >2.5mm welded during the qualification test is: greater than 2.5mm (with no upper limit).
