Hi All,

I'm looking for a nylon tube which is food grade approved and it should withstand upto 25bar water pressure.

I want to use the pipe for drinking water applications. Maximum operating pressure is 25bar.

Tube OD: 8mm
ID : 5 - 6mm
Pls suggest any suite tube material wit its make.

I don't think you're going to find nylon tubing for this application. It's too absorbent for food application.

What are your flexibility and temperature requirements?

In lieu of any temp requirements, I'd look at PFA tubing.

I have found food grade polyethylene tube in Parker make. But it's pressure handling capacity is very low.
I'm looking for atleast 16 bar

Or Stainless steel? There are high pressure hoses (plastic liners with metal or kevlar braid) but you getting rather expensive.

Flexibility: the more will more better.
Temperature: 25 to 40 degree celcius.

Yes. we can go with copper. But we prefer plastic/rubber tube because of less price than Copper tubes.

I got the tube from Legris make, with food grade and max. withstanding pressure is 36bar.
But it is very costly.

The problem, as you're discovering, is that the cheaper pipes have limited maximum pressure.

If you want higher pressure then it gets more expensive than stainless steel or copper.

You can buy UHMW PE pipe which will do 25 bar I think.

Yeah. Food grade tubes with higher pressure capacity are very expensive than stainless steel or copper.

I'll check for copper tube price, if that fits our pocket.
