Hi Erkamal,

When we say NACE, we normally mean the valve body and trim.

Tugsten is coating on the ball and seat. And Tugsten is higher than NACE standards. So as long as the valve body and trim material is NACE standard, the valve is in NACE application.

Thank lot you.

i confused cause NACE have many criteria about material acceptance. like 22 HRC harness & at which partial pressure of H2s , different material should be used or not. so i could not understood about Tungsten carbide material acceptance standard.

What is meant by "NACE material," "NACE standard," or "NACE application?" These terms are meaningless when considering the end user's responsibility for compliance.

To address the perceived thrust of the question, it would be useful to read the second paragraph of A.13.2.2 in Part 3, where the answer is readily obtained.

I do not agree with any of above comments. Please do read commonly available NACE standards more thoroughly. There is an answer inside.
