Tungsten from China DFARS Compliant?

Hey Everyone,

I'm new here so I apologize if this is not the right forum to post in.

I'm seeking information regarding Tungsten per ASTM B777, CL3 from China. I have read over the DFARS 252.225-7052 clause and find some of the wording to be unclear when it describes exceptions of Tungsten.

Can anyone provide some clarity on whether China is a DFARS qualifying country for the Tungsten spec mentioned? Thank you.

No, if the metal was made elsewhere and processed in China then maybe.
At one time HC Stark was the only DEFARs option.
