Hope you all are good.
We have centrifugal compressor driven by a gas turbine.We have Two Turbines and two Load Compressors. Define as A and B.
Whenever we shutting down the says turbine B and transferring the load on A. Turbine B unloaded and run on Idle Mode during the idle run suction pressure of turbine B increases and causes the EGT increase and shutting down the turbine abruptly.
I have a question what happen to turbine on idle mode when the suction pressure of load Compressor increase due to any reason of operation?what is the behaviour of turbine currently we observe increase in EGT and a got boom sound from turbine.
