What is an appropiate material for this application?
What temperature range will this component be subjected to?

In my car temps pre-turbo peak ~1575F. The max inlet temp on the turbine is ~1600 (IIRC).

Cast Iron is commonly used. It has multiple advantageous properties in this environment, and is the OEM choice. After the collector the connecting tubing is commonly 439ss.

There are various aftermarket manifolds available. Most are 304ss (hopefully L grade). Some are manufactured using the more apropriate 321ss.

The race teams use inconel type headers and exhaust systems. They also have Anti-Lag fitted. Some aftermarket companies also have available inconel alloy components.

Any idea for the grade of material?
I assume it will be an SG iron, but are the high silicon /molybdenum required?
 
I have worked on some high performance applications. They tend to be light wall tubing, very light, built using either 321 or 625 (at 8 times the cost).
The thin tubing distorts some, but that is getter than failing in thermal fatigue.
