Hi all,
I am making a turning template for studbolts at this moment. In this template I use cut regions in the turning operations. The cam target is a studbolt. All the other studbolts I have to manufature have the same parameters (i believe they are part family). The main difference is their lenght and diameter. I tried to use a formule to position the axial trim point. But when using the template the trim point loses it's associativity with the formule (for example: p10="tapeind_target":
18; p18 is a parameter from the cam target) and puts a constant instead. I don't understand why this happens. My operation is used as template and created when parent is created. I even tried constructor points in the cam assembly and connect the trim points to this associative points. The points are moving along nice in the template (parameter driven), but the trim point loses his associativity with this point. Please help!!
