Dear Professional

I would like to bother you a triaval how to derive the two phase density formula.

I try to derive from this formla
Two phase density = (weigh of liquid + weight of vapor)/[weight of liquid/liquid density + weight of vapor/vapor density]

to another formula as following

two phase density = [100/(100-%flash)]/Liquid density + %flash/vapor density

But I can't get this result

Can anyone give me an kindly help?

Thank you for any help.

Hope the following can help you a bit:

You require the hold up for both gas and liquid phase:

Hl = liquid hold up
Hg = 1- Hl - Gas hold up

labda l = Ql / (Qv+Ql) = no slip hold up, with Ql is liquid flow/volume and Qv is total volume/flow

labda g = Qg / (Qv+Qg)

Calculation of the mixture density is then given by

rho mixture = (rho l * labda l ^2)/Hl + (rho g * labda g ^2)/Hg
