Hello,

I would to try and combine two PQRs into a WPS.

PQR 1 is 3G with CVNs, materials welded API 5L X65 - API 2H Gr 50.
PQR 2 is a 6GR without CVNs, same filler metal as above only changing the materials (API 5L X65 - API 5L X52).

Intention is to have PQR 1 qualified for ALL positions. PQR 1 would have all the testing done (tensile, bends, CVNs, etc.) and PQR 2 would supplement this PQR with the positions. PQR 2 has the same filler metal, similar/same process parameters, etc. except for the base materials. Therefore PQR 2 would "demostrate" the weldability/penetration of the filler metal with the other variables.

Is this possible/feasible? Thank you.

What construction/qualification code is being used? Your original PQR qualifies all position for ASME IX, but not all codes. But if it is ASME IX, it only qualifies P1 Group 2 welded to API 2H Gr. 50 (unclassified material, as I did not see it was assigned a P number). Your 2nd PQR does not qualify anything other than give you peace of mind that it works, since no testing seems to have been done.
