Two questions about pump turbine

Hi,
I am a new guy to pump turbine.And I need some help for two questions:
1. There is a load case named zero discharge pumping mode. In this case, the wicket gates are open or closed?
2. During normal operation in pump mode, which pressure is bigger, the one between wicket gate and runner or the one in the spiral casing?

Is anyone who fimiliar with this?
