Two-Way Slab using ADOSS program - lateral seismic load

I am using ADOSS to analyze a two-way slab system. The program allows the input of a lateral load (They refer to it as a wind load). I want to input the lateral load as a seismic load to account for it in the loading scenarios.

All the other inputs in the program for loads are in lb/ft^2 but the lateral load (Pa) is supposed to be input in kips. Is anyone familiar with this program that could help me with this so that I am calculating the right load for my seismic load for this purpose.

I believe ADOSS is a bit dated so be careful. The wind load in this program, I believe, applies the 0.75(1.7) = 1.3 load factor to the wind - so if it is seismic, you need to adjust the input accordingly to fool the computer.

Read the manual closely to confirm this.

Also, the extension of the reinforcing into the supports may not meet current ACI requirements for "structural integrity" (see chapter 7)
