Check with Sporlan, Parker or Alco. They may have an automotive division.

Ahem....

The Prof appreciates penpoint listing Sporlan first. :)

Well! Aw Shucks, I have to admit I use Sporlan quite a bit. Single and Cascade refrigeration. Environmental Simulation if you get my meaning. Good order desks and tech. support there. Now where's my kick back (just kidding).

Dear All.
Thanks for the reply.
Actually we need a steel block assembly with two tubes brazed on it suitable to be connected to the txv valves.
thanks

Sounds like something that any garage machine shop could do.

Hummm, I've got a garage.....

How many do you need?

i tried with a vendor with a cnc machine.
but maintaining the dimensions after machining & brazing and very critical & diffficult. Sorry a garage or even a very good mechine shop are not able to do the job.

It sounds like the AC application is secondary and what you really need is an industrial process. Try Call them or email them and explain exactly what you are really trying to achieve. If they can't do it, maybe they can suggest someone who will.

The Institute of Industrial Engineers or the Society of Automotive Engineers may be able to recommend someone also. An experienced industrial engineer or mechanical parts designer might even value engineer your 'part' (suggest a different process to achieve the same end which may be easier/cheaper/not as difficut to achieve).

Parker has a division that does mobile AC assemblies exclusively. Automotive Connectors Division, I believe. They are located in TN. Try My turn to shamelessly promote.

Don't make it too rigid & too precise or you will have difficulty in assembling & may subject the part to more forces. Anchor at one point & use the flexibility of the piping to connect. Don't lock in parts between (2) anchors with no place for the expansion to go.
