Are there any quick guidelines for blowmolding as there is with injection molding. (ex. minimum radius, typical wall thickness, maximum cavity depth, minimum cavity width, etc...)
I plan to design a blow molded case for our product and haven't really played much with that process much.
Any information about this, or where i can find a good book or site with info on this subject, would be greatly appreciated...thanks

There are books on this subject.

Have a look at the Society of Plastics /Engineers site 4SPE.org

Contact Mergon Inc They blow mold lots of cases for things like electric drills.
They have a plant in S.C. and are a customer of mine.
They a very customer oriented, and I'm certain they will be helpful.

proddesign,

definitely check-out SPE

You should also search on either Google or Dogpile.com for some free information.

I am also guessing that you have done your homework on the best process to use for production. The reason that I mention this is due to the fact that most of the tool cases that I have seen, were manufactured using either injection, thermoform, rotaional molding or a combination of these.
