U Stamp - brewery tanks?

Dear all,
I would like to know if beer fermenters or yeast brink tanks do need the U-Stamp or if they fall within any exemption.
Do you know why beer kegs are exempted despte of having a working pressure higher than 15 psig??

Check the insurance coverage. Usually they will reduce the annual payments when stamped with ASME...why?...simple... reduced risks. In addition it will have higher resale value.

There are several shops that produce U-stamped brewing vessels. A company in southern Missouri produces several various vessels per week. They have a full-time AI.
