UDE instance in ADAMS

Hello.. Does anyone know what are UDE instances in ANSA and their purpose??
For example, if I create a General Motion on a joint it will appear in database browser under the MOTIONS. owever, if I select from screen a revolute joint>press modify and then press impose motion, the motion will appear under the ALL Other/UDE instances list .. So what is the difference??
Whats the different between these two kinds of motions??

If you are asking for help with ANSA, you are going the wrong way about it. For that matter if you are asking for help with ADAMS, you are going the wrong way about it.

Bumps are rarely appreciated by a professional audience who are donating their time.

Why are you asking here rather than on the MSC support forums?

Create a simple model using each way of doing it and then export the adm code for each one. Comparison of the adm files will probably reveal a difference in numbering schemata, but no difference in functionality.
