Hi everyone.
The formulas in the subject, where do they come from exactly? The "1.9" factor has peaked my curiosity.

pperlich, don't know for sure, but I suspect they are particular solutions to differential equations. If you review the various relevant cases in Roark's you see solutions very similar to the Code equations.
