UG & NX into Catia v5 1

Is there a way to read UG18 & UG NX files into Catia v5 other than using STEP. Any help would be great.

There is an undocumented feature in UGNX.
When doind a save as, name the part the type .model as an extension (part.model). It will save the solid part as a *.model
