Hello All,

I'm trying to build a macro that would export multiple UG drawings files (over 2000 files all in one folder) into DXF drawings. What I’m struggling with is trying to make a macro to just open and close a file in UG. I think, once I know how to do that, it only takes a “record macro” of the DXF export and a "loop" to run it thru all the files.

I apologize in advance since I do not know too much programming, only took a VB.net and a C++ class about a year ago.

Thank you all for your helps,

Malafe

When doing batch translations I find it handy to use the translator that is external to the NX session.
It is a DOS based program, but works fine.
You can access the NX external translator from WINDOWS
Start -> Programs -> UGSNX_ -> Translators -> DXFDWG . . .
