What do you mean with "Preloaded bug part files" ?

I mean, when I load a step file part, extra parts will come as default ( which has been opened earlier in the nx long back) its hard to delete it as well

I have never noticed this behavior. You are of course, working with an "very" old version of NX. My memory doesn't go back that far.
You are sure that those "old" parts are not a part of the Step file or the embedded assembly structure ?

If you open the STEP file through File -> open, the new prt files created are based on a special template file, the STEP null file. If anything was saved in this template file, it will show up when you open STEP files. Open these template files to make sure there is no existing geometry already in the file.

The oldest version I have installed is NX 9, for this version, the files can be found at:
{NX install folder}\STEP203UG\step203ugnullnx90_in.prt
{NX install folder}\STEP203UG\step203ugnullnx90_mm.prt
{NX install folder}\STEP214UG\step214ugnullnx90_in.prt
{NX install folder}\STEP214UG\step214ugnullnx90_mm.prt

The locations will probably be very similar for NX 7.5. The file names will probably have 75 in them instead of 90.

Can you describe, exactly step by step ( the menu sequence) how you do this procedure ?
I have never seen nor heard of such problem.

Tomas
