Gents,
I am currently using NX6 and NX7.5 for different jobs and have 2 questions that so far I am unable to solve.
1, Linetype in draughting. How do you change the linetype scale. For example if the centreline needs more space between lines?
2, I want to show work planes and axis from the models in the draughting environment. There seems to be 2 problems with this. If I change the work plane linetype in the model and show it in the drawing then the linetype doesn't appear quite correct. It's like the top and bottom of the work plane lines are showing which gives almost a solid line. I want the work axis to not show the arrowhead on the drawing but do not know how to do this. I do not want to start drawing lines in especially when models are very complicated. Also I could do with showing the co-ordinate axis x,y,z including the x,y,z letters on the drawing but this changes when I zoom in and out. Any help would be much appreciated. Many thanks.

As far as the spaces between the centerlline goes: if you double-click on the cl a menu wull come up to change the values.
I am not certain where the values are located in your customer defaults, but if you utilize the binoculars in the upper right corner of the menu you should be able to locate it
File -> Utilities -> Customer Defaults

If you mean changing the line fonts (dashed, center, phantom, etc); you can navigate to Preferences -> Visualization -> Line (tab) and in the Part settings section, turn on the Software fonts option. Now you will be able to change the dash, space, and symbol size used in the line fonts.

Thanks for the replies gents. I have tried both of these in the past but for various reasons they do not give me exactly what I am after. I will keep trying to see if I can solve these little problems and post back if I do. Many thanks
