Hi,

When I do a post in UG I get the following output:

============================================================
Information listing created by : xxxxx
Date : 7/9/2012 8:20:36 AM
Current work part : D:\xxxx.prt
Node name : xxxxx
============================================================
%
N0010 G40 G17 G90 G70
N0020 G91 G28 Z0.0

I would like to automate the post so it does not include the information above the %. I have looked in Post Builder, but have not found an obvious way to get rid of it.

Any pointers will be greatly appreciated.

G.J.

Is this actually in the output file? When you post process the output can also be listed in the information window and has the "header" you describe. Open the actual file output from the post in a text editor and see if it has anything above the %

Hi Gjvander,
It looks like you have just created a new post with no modifications as of yet.
After posting close the information window and go to the file were the post is sending the file (most likeley the directory you are working in) and open the .ptp file you posted, you should not see anything above the %.

I did not realize there was a difference between the info file and the ptp file.

Thanks for the help.
