Hi,
I have a problem calculating minimum required thickness for fixed tubesheet Configuration a; tubesheet integral to shell. Referred to UHX-9.5 does not mention about Configuration a.

other info; flanged between shell and head, tubesheet welded at shell, design pressure shell and tube equal = 19 bar, tubesheet uniformly perforated

Tq.

jessyazure91, did you refer to Fig UHX 13.1? Config (a) is tubesheet integral to both channel & shell.

Regards,

Mike

So, is that mean that my problem here cannot be solved using UHX? since the tubesheet integral to shell (welded at some length middle of shell), does not gasketed with channel. Channel and shell flanged. I can't find where I can relate my problem to.
