Unfold a blend surface

I have a blend surface bended in two directions. Now I want to see in real dimensions. But when i select "unfold" Catia (V5R7) saids "The unfolded view is currentrly empty". Im working in Sheetmetal. Do i have to define a plane or something like that? Is there a way to do this with "Wireframe and Surface Design"?

hi there, i want to swicth from catia v4 to catia v5 but i have heard there are some bugs in the 2D and sheetmetal?

I would appreciate a safe and sound approach as i have to start a very tight project.

Can anyone give me a honest point of view on the situation?

A Develop for complex surfaces is still 1 or 2 R's away according to my IBM rep.

Has develop for complex surfaces ever been released for V5? I believe that the CD3 module has something similar, but it is very $$$.
