I was wondering if anyone else out there on SW 2003 is experiencing "Unhandled Errors" which shuts the program down instantly?

I had a good many until I updated my video card driver. What video card do you have?

My own machine is not really a bad problem. Maybe one unhandled error every 2-4 days. The drivers for my 3Dlabs Oxygen VX1 are up-to-date. Others in the office are having more frequent problems. I will check their drivers.

Thanks!

Hello Steve,

Please make sure you disable the Virus checker, when...

1) Installing SolidWorks and Service packs
2) Installing Video Drivers

You may want to lower the hardware acceleration to see if this reduces the crashing.

cheers,

Joseph

There is a KBA at the SW website called "Trouble shooting a crash prone system". Look this up at the SW website after you log in to Subscription support it gives many things to try when getting "Unhandled Errors"

Those errors are some of the hardest ones to figure out sometimes. You have to rule out all varaibles to pin point the problem.

I hope that helps,
