Unit of Measure Conversion Problem

Hey guys,

I don't know why I'm having such a hard time cancelling out units here, but here's my predicament. We send out a couple materials to have some MVTR (Moisture Vapor Transmission Rate) testing done to see the permeability of each film. The units we got back were in g/Pa*s*m^2. I have a data sheet for another material that we're looking to switch to and that one has units in g/m^2*D. I'm trying to cancel the units out, but not having luck! I think it's been too long since I've done this stuff.

Do any of you have any insight on this?

Thanks so much!

Of course I can. I can do anything. I can do absolutely anything. I'm an expert!

nervermind, it's appears to be days, which ought not be capitalized, and probably should be spelled out, since it's not a normal unit.

The units are not equivalent. according to wikipedia, the first is permeance, which WVTR/pressure difference, which, presumably, is a way of describing the WVTR with some indication of how much pressure is required to achieve a certain level of WVTR

Thank you so much. I figured that out after looking at my results and realized that I didn't have the permeability rate for one of the materials and that was only the WVTR, so I converted the units to what I had for the other film.

Thanks so much for the input, though!
