Good morning.
Here is my issued:

There are two Units of air conditioning of 12.5 Tons each one,
We noticed that one of the unit was not working, so that we called the Supplier in order to repair this problem.
They came and told us that the problem was the device of protection of the unit shows the fail "Open circuit"
The suppier said that due to variations of voltage the device opens the circuit, preventing a damaage of the unit condenser. The suppier recommeded that when we have this problem we can go to the breaker panel and open and close the breaker in order to reset
But passed the days, and then the unit continued with the same problem.

when the supplier came to do the reparations they measured and the values were correct.

Have an electrician check all of the wiring and connections. All of them.

Connect a recording volt meter at the circuit breaker. See if you power is disappearing intermittently.

Check voltage variation at the building service. Sounds like voltage transients.

Check the breakers

Check the motor starter.

Agree with Willard, sounds like transient voltage surges. If it happens often, a Transient Voltage Surge Suppressor (TVSS) can be used to even out the voltage and minimize/prevent surges from reaching your equipment.

the case is,
Two units (condensers) are the same, with same charactheristics (equal), but the stranger is that only happened with one of this units.

Where is the fault happening? Or at the unit itself or the panel board?
