Unite sheets to solid

I need to add material to a solid body using an open sheet body whose edges lie on the solid. I cannot find an apropriate tool. (ProE tools protrusion using surface, and patch both accomplish this)

The attached image shows an example, the bright green sheet body needs to be merged with the light green solid.

Oh, I see that "patch" does work. Now I feel silly. The tooltip led me to think it did something else.
