Our computer here in our office has disabled USB access. How can I configure the settings so I may use it in times I badly need to take home my work?

Better idea: Every time you need USB access, call or email the IT wonks who supplied you a computer without it or disabled it.

Modifying your computer without their permission could be a career decision.

If you are polite and professional, you may turn them into allies.

Is USB completely disabled or only disabled for memory sticks? Have you tried a portable floppy drive (costs about £30)? If the work will fit on a floppy, just do it from floppy.

Is the disabled USB a fault or deliberate security policy? Any method of bypassing company security policy will get you fired in many companies.

Good Luck

Try accessing it through DOS or typing the drive letter (with : etc) into the address bar.
The last place I was at, the must have just had the "interface" (explorer) disabled and you could access as per normal using the above (the later was a bit more "usual" of the two methods).
