I am looking for a source giving the composition and other useful information of steel and alloy listed by UNS.
Also a list with materials designated by AISI code would be appreciated.

Thanks

Try the Guide to Engineered Materials, publised in the Dec issue of the ASM/TMS magazine, or you might be able to find something by google. If you have any specific designations you need info on let me know. I'm not sure if its a big deal (copyright wise) but I could maybe Fax you a copy of what I have. Again however I want to stay on the good side of the various restrictions, course the rules might say its ok if I dont charge and of course I wont....

We have a book here at work entitled "Metals and Alloys in the Unified Numbering System". It's published jointly by the ASTM and SAE. Our copy is the 8th edition, 1999, ISBN 0-7680-0407-1. It does contain cross references to other numbering systems.
