Unselectable components for export 2

Hello all,

Working with NX12. Having problems with assemblies. I have downloaded .step files from a catalog supplier, loaded them, and saved as a .prt file. They show up in the assembly, show they are a body and on layer 1 in the assembly navigator. Trying to export a .stp file of the assembly to send to a fabricator, but some of the imported parts are not selecting for export and they don't show up in the .stp export. They do however show up in the specification drawing. What do I need to look for?

If it is like other software, a failure to create a solid from the imported step file will result in a surface model instead; it is common that surfaces are ignored for step export and if there is no solid feature the part may be ignored for export.
