I was having an issue in Drafting when creating a drawing from an assembly. All of my parts were shifting on the creatiion of the drawing. Anyways I called GTAC and they had me turn this Update Modified Transforms switch off. Under help it has a small discription of what this swtich does. I still do not understand. Does anybody else have experience with this switch and what it is used for?

I assume that you know that you can, in Teamcenter ( PSE/ Structure Editor) move components in the viewer. ( which in turn I don't understand why one would like to do since it's not a "precision movement".)
Then The Update modified transforms is on/off if you would like to "pass" that transformation into the NX Assembly or not.
I.e allow the components to move accordingly in NX.

I sometimes see "similar" things happening, Messages that component transformation was attempted but not successful due to assembly constraints. I have not been able to track down the reason for this yet. I am pretty convinced that nobody has moved anything in the structure editor.

Tomas

I would not even begin to know how to do this in the structure editor. I know one could move components in the PSE but never did know how. But that darn switch being turned off worked great. Thanks for the feedback.
