I think you need to explain what you mean by a "54% column splice" in a concrete column. And then, if you can illustrate it, why did you do it?

My house is on 1538 S Pine St., please help!!!

hokie66 because of transition from 33 percent splice to 50 percent splice. becomes impossible. the reason why become 54 percent instead 50 from the code. what do you think? is it allowed?

You are not being clear in your question. It is clear that your first language is not english, but we're going to need some more clarity in the question.

It's likely safe to assume we're talking about concrete columns since you're in the Philippines.

Are you talking about splicing 54% of the steel at a given point instead of 33%?
Where is the splice happening? What is the demand on the column at the splice location?
How much reinforcing are we talking about? Are you at 1% of Ag, 4%?
