I have to design a welded header box from 'SA-516 grad 60' plate in accordance to the ASME pressure vessel code VIII-Div 1 2010 and the API 661, I tried to determinate the nominal thickness using formula in page 34 (see attachments) for unstayed flat heads and covers, and appendix 13 (see attachments).
I found a nominal thickness of 56.51 mm is that normal for 14 bar pressure coming from 92 tubes ?

I'm assuming you are trying to design a header box for an air cooler. If so, you are using entirely the wrong approach. The calcs you quote are for bolted flind flanges. You need far more input to consider the local and global stresses and in particular, reiforcement of the tubesheet side with perforations.

You really need to employ a profesionally experienced engineer.

Thanks for the reply, yes I am tryin to design a header box for an air cooler, it's a project that I must accomplish to get my certificate of mechanical engineering, I am new with the ASME code, usualy we had to use the French codes beacause we studied in accordance with french rules, so I am trying to familiarise with the American Rules, So please can you help me by guiding me ?
which rules should I use ?
how can I calculate thicknesses using appendix 13 ?

Look at the scope for your vessel, then look at the examples in Appendix 13-17 and Special Calculations in 13-18. That should be enough to get you started.

Be sure to read 13-1(c), depending on your configuration and loadings you may need further evaluation with U-2(g).
