The Federal Highways Administration is currently asking for comments on proposed changes to the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices.
On the MUTCD website, you can watch recordings of three webinars covering proposed changes:

° Pedestrians, Bicycles, and Transit
° Urban Traffic Control
