Hi,

I want to define a constraint of displacement of a node in a NX nastran asymmetric solution. My displacement blockage is not in the X,Y,Z normal so I need to define an angle to apply a displacement constraint.

Ho do I specify which CSYS I want to use for my constraint?

Thank you in advance.

Hi ChrisHadfield,

I am very certain that for 3D solutions, you can use/refer a custom CSYS in your constraint dialog box.
However for axisymmetric solution, I am afraid you cant use custom CSYS. The workaround would be to re-position your simulation model according to the solution Plane and Axis given..

Hi Tuw,

But if I re-position my simulation model, it will affect the rotation axis as well. So the geometry of analysis won't be the same.

Thank you
