In an assembly is there a way to make a selection of parts and/or subassembies and turn on/off all their user work planes, axis, points for just those?

I'm finding it time consuming to toggle all work features on and then going into each part and turning off what I don't need. When I toggle all user work planes off I'm not able to turn them on through the browser. I keep thinking that with all the tricks inventor has there must be a procedure I've not found yet.

Have them turned off in your default ViewRep in your parts and assemblies. Make all components placed in your main assembly associative to your default ViewReps.

When you edit one component (in context of the assembly) it will lose the associativity to the default ViewRep and change back to master with your planes and sketches visible.

When you are done, RMB Representations and set it back to associative -> Default.

Alternatively just edit your files in a separate window, Ctrl+Tab, Global Update.
