Anybody see anything wrong with using a panelboard as a junction box/raceway for the same circuit.

Any other words I've got a circuit terminating to a panelboard - which is a boo boo. So, I'd like to disconnect from the panelboard route to an additional device and then back to the panelboard to be terminated to the same circuit.

Based on controls of a system - its got to run to the devices as indicated above. This would help cost because I would not run additional pieces of conduit and wire.

Any code issues here - I've checked the NEC and was unable to find conflict.

qms006, The code used to say NO! on this one and it more
than likely still says Nyet! I have wire nutted wires to
short to reach a new lighting panel installation (in the
panel), but your position is pushing the envelope.

I believe NEC Article 312.8 allows this as long as the cross sectional area fill limitations specified are not violated.

Regards...
