Hi,
Does anyone here have the experience using AI for developing/concepting displacement pumps?

What, exactly, are you imagining an AI would do?

Is AI going to reinvent the displacement pump idea?

It is a capital mistake to theorise before one has data. Insensibly one begins to twist facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts. (Sherlock Holmes - A Scandal in Bohemia.)

We are currently trying to adapt/see what ways AI could be used within engineering. We are trying out Topology Studies using AI, given basic startup information. So them same could be done on, for this purpose a displacement pump. We develop our own pump within the medical and analysis industry, but maybe you guys have tried to fiddle a bit with it.

If anyone has managed a new concept using AI or other means, they aren't going to share it on this forum.

Publicly available AI doesn't have access to CFD or anything. It's not like ChatGPT can run a CFD model of your batch process and tell you what pump parameters would work. At best all AI would do right now it barf up some mismash of technical language from research papers and sources that seem to be in the field you're asking about.

TL;DR: No.
Slightly longer answer: Pump design firms may be using internal AI programs to process/analyze large amounts of data. But that won't be freely available to you.

SKYNET approves of this discussion ..... and would like to say thank you !!!
