I will be taking the Pennsylvania Civil PE exam in April and wanted to start preparing now. I did not realize the current review books and classes would be so expensive. I found some exam guides and example question books on ebay from 2008 for $20 or less. Does anyone have recent experience using older reference books to study for the exam?

Do not blame the results on the references when any error occurs after suing the out-of-date references on your "professional" test.

The new test combined the section of wastewater and environmental in the AM test. You will probably be studying extra things. If you want to save money. Skip Lindberg. Buy Goswanis All in One and Goswani practice test. Get the NCEES discipline specific and buy cheap reference books on ebay. You should spend about $350 total.
