I need to connect some batteries in series and require 2/0 wire, but I'm wondering if I could use solid brass (or aluminum?) stock because it's only a 6" straight shot. It would be easier and I assume cheaper because I would avoid the need for terminal lugs the cable is expensive too. The question is, what cross section would I need to get the same conductivity.
