I do a lot of part family drawings where we pull in data from the Model files on an excel spreadsheet. We will setup expressions and associative measurements in the Model files that change from part to part that we want to display on a variation table on the drawing. With either the model files added to the drawing as views or components we can pull the required data using the excel function exprval.

This worked really well in NX8, but I cant seem to get it to work in NX9. It works, but not completely. With the excel editor open, the formulas solve and display the right information, but when I exit excel to go back to the drawing, the table shows blank cells.

I have gone as far as to create interpart expressions to the Model file expressions in the drawing file, but still the same result.

Anyone have any experience with this?

2013. I figured out a work around, but it doesn't make sense. As of right now with the formulas on sheet 2 of the Excel file, I can make the cells on Sheet 1 equal the appropriate cells on Sheet. This displays on the drawing the way I would expect it to. Not sure why with the formulas on sheet 1 the cells will not display on the drawing.
