Hi everyone.
I have two questions.
1- What are the differences between KAYNAR cable & HALAR cable used in cathodic protection?
2- If we have bought a cable from an unknown vendor, how can we find out the cable is HALAR or KAYNAR?
Thank you in advance.

Kynar is a PVDF, and Halar is an ECTFE. So, some form of spectroscopy of a small sample should show up the type of polymer.

Thank you very much.
What are their applications? I mean when do you use KYNAR or HALAR?
