Hi everyone,
I'm newbie in ADAMS. I used Motionview-Motionsolve package before. When I start with ADAMS, it's interface discouraged me much. That why I want to use Motionview as pre-processor and then run by ADAMS solver.
I've linked the Adams solver to Motionview already but the run didn't execute. I have no idea to solve this kind of problem because it doesn't give any notice or warning. What can I do now?
Thanks.

I've never been able to do that either. I didn't spend very long on it, admittedly. Have you successfully complete MV 4010?

I tried but it's still not running. The MV 4010 tutorial seems too old. I just found one for 2013 version.
Seems like I have to make acquaintance with ADAMS but it's offline help relatively hard to follow. Do you have any recommend for me to learn efficiently?
Thanks!

Couple of things, dig around and see if you have created an acf and an adm. If you have got that far then you can run ADAMS from the command line, in a dos box.

To get an idea of how ADAMS works do the Getting Started - Latch tutorial for ADAMS /View. It's a fairly comprehensive look at how to build and run a mechanism.

What sort of thing are you modelling?

Yes, I will look for that tutorial.
I work in automotive field, so I will build the full vehicle model to extract load applying to the car body and sometimes I build the mechanisms in verhicle.
