It all depends what you mean by "cladded pipe" and what the thickness is to begin with. If you really mean clad - as in the two metals are metallurgically bonded - you simply use straight beam thickness methods. The measurements are not as reliable with full pipe as with empty pipe, but as in all NDT of this or any other type, USE A PROPER STANDARD TO VERIFY THE READINGS!!!!
Thanks for your feed back. Yes, maybe by mistake technically we are using the term "Cladding" while it should be "Lining". By cladding I mean metallurgically bonding a noble metal to the internal surface of a CS pipe, however, the above mentioned terms are used interchangeably...(REF: Materials selection for corrosion control (ASM), Chapter 27,By S.
